crazyjim Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 After over a week of withdrawal, I'm finally able to get to the MCM Forum again. Turns out we had a bad router so Brighthouse Networks just replaced it. Now I have to go through 461 posts that I've missed.
george 53 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 You waz gone too???? Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back!
crazyjim Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 It's great to be back, George. I had no idea how addicted I am to this forum until I couldn't get to it. I really love it here.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I kind of figured you were looking around for a 1:1 project car to fill that void where the dune buggy used to live.
Gregg Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Jim, Marcia had said you were having problems getting to forum What did the techies say happened? It seems to be happening a lot to others, and it doesn't seem to be a forum related issue.
Chuck Most Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 It's great to be back, George. I had no idea how addicted I am to this forum until I couldn't get to it. I really love it here. Now ya know about my world, Jimmy! (Who is this guy again? )
crazyjim Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 I haven't found a 1:1 project yet - but my eyes are open. Gregg - the techie tried to ping modelcarsmag.com and got no response. He was able to access the site from his iPhone like Marcia was. The Netgear router had a tiny, hidden reset switch on the back and resetting it to factory specs had no effect. The guy replaced the router and modem with a new RCA unit and bingo, bango I'm up and running.
