diymirage Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 went to the hobby lobby a while ago with a 40 % off coupon and came how with a 69 Z28 pretty much a straight OOB build, i just added plug wires and changed the rolling stock setup (different wheels on the driver and passengerside to match the paintjob) about the paintjob...when i was young i scooted around town on dirtbikes, i went everywhere on those things and i was always getting into trouble with the cops (something about needing a license, registration and all that nonsence) usually i would just get some rattle cans and paint my bike a different color when the cops got to know it too well one day me and my buddies were sitting in the bar and we had this great idea...what if we painted one side of the bike blue and the other side red? that would cut our changes of being recognized in half so we did and thats where the idea for this paintjob came from my only gripe about the kit is that it didnt come with radiotor hoses, something i plan to fix before putting her on the shelf for good as always, comments are welcomed

Space Cowboy Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Now that looks different but it looks great. Super job on the paint..
diymirage Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 thanks guys this turned out to be a very fun build there was only one issue with it....i have no where to put it i just now realised that most of my newer models are in the guestroom and the oldies reside in my man cave but i have no display in the living room the idea behind having different wheels on each side is in keeping with the two profiles, almost like a jeckle and hide deal tyler, i do have the box laying around still, its one of the re-issues with the white/grey background and the yellow/bleu car need a picture of it ?
