MoparWoman Jamie Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Wiring in series multiplies the voltage available by the number of cells, wiring in parallel multiplies the amperage by the number of cells--from my 7th Grade Electrical Shop Class back in 1956. Art Okay then I don't care what it is, all I care is just as long as it work's.. is all. To my understand from afew days ago is this, 6 Battery's at 1.5Voltage = 9voltage. I all I needed was 9-12 voltage was all. I decided to go with the 9 voltage route with 1amp, but I also designed the project system to be or I should say the system can be at even time converted over to 12 volts 2amps instead 9volts and 1amp that it is now.
