Hey guys,

a few months ago we moved. I've got my model area set up in the basement. It's a musty basement, and maybe a bit on the damp side. I've done some airbrushing (I have a moisture trap on my compressor). I haven't had any major problems. It did seem like when I sprayed a couple of bodies that the color wasn't going down the best. Is the environment of my basement affecting the paint? Would a dehumidifier help?

I appreciate any insight you might have.

Yes and oh hell yes.

When I lived in the midwest with it's high humidity I used a dehumidifier religiously. I once watched paint bead up and bounce off a body due to the humidity.

Now I have the exact opposite problem.
