Jon Cole Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I have never built a model of a funny car, but that may happen. Q is, build the Polar Lights Hawaiian, or buy the new one from Revell? Also, which blue paint should I buy?
brett Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) Jon, personally I would suggest the new Revell kit . Why? new mold so should be little to no flash, single piece chassis compared to about 7 pieces on the polar lights (they're a bear to get straight and square), any problems with any kit pieces or decals Revell is still around unlike the getting hard to find Polar Lights. Well that's my 2 cents I have built a Polar Lights Hawaiian and will be buying a few of the new Revell as money permits (excellent kit for other charger f loppers). Check out Lens build tutorial for all other info, its in the workshop Edited December 3, 2010 by brett
Jon Cole Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 Thanks Brett. Would anyone know what blue spray to buy?
Jon Cole Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 Memo to self: Check the "On The Workbench" section next time before asking Q's about a new kit!
