I want to build a 69/70 Nova funny car, like Jungle Jim. Who has a good body for sale? I guess I should use the new Revell Hawaiian for the engine and frame. sounds reasonable right?

Thanks,

Tim

Competition Resins has the Nova body and Slixx has the decals. (Comp Resins products are also available through Slixx.)

Either the Hawaiian or any of the Polar Lights funny car kits would be a good source for the chassis. The PL kits have been out of production for awhile, but, the Cuda and Mustang are both due to be reissued in the near future.

As for the engine, the Hemi in the Hawaiian/PL kits would only be correct if you're building a red JJ Nova. The blue car used a big-block Chevy (easily sourced from any number of kits) for power.

Thanks for the info, i wasnt sure about a body. Now I am building a fictitious team, but slixx's does have some nice decals.
