Build Up Boy Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Evening All- I'm lookin' to replocate one of Grump's Monza's. The attached shot is from way back when (approx. 1978) at our local track in Northern, IL. (which is still running Bracket cars to this day, but NOT drawing any match race stuff over the last 15 years), Grump is on the extreme RIGHT & I'm on the extreme LEFT. I'm going to need just about EVERYTHING. Any help & suggestions will be appreciated. I love this car! Thanks....Marty
aarondupont Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Try Competition Resin. They list a Monza Pro-Stock for Grumpy's Toy. Part # CR5006. The scoop with the body looks different from your picture. But you should be able to modify it. For chassis, modify from Nova funny car. Rat Trap kit I believe it is called. Hope that helps.
Build Up Boy Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 Love the old pro stocks in non NHRA match race trim! Saw that Monza at Union Grove, that pick must be at Byron. Here are some more pics. BRIAN- You are so correct, Ron Leeks place in Byron, IL. Marty
