Mike Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Quite the undertaking on the Ford! Can't wait to see more.
bob paeth Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Zeb, do the grille as it is right now, ie floating. the rounded off headlite areas look good also. but, PLEASE close off the opening in the hood scoop, OK ? bob
Guest zebm1 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Ahh Bob, tha little hole is not tha hood scoop, pics didn't show tha hood scoop correctly. Tha grille sticks out about 1/8" further than tha front of tha hood center, which I will be extending.... and filling in tha gap.... Tha hoop scoop is a modification of a 67 Vette 427 scoop that I originnally did as a drawing back in '72. Tha Ford will eventually be a sedan, chopped 2", when done which means that I also have to shorten tha passenger cabin about 1" in tha rear side windows areas. Including tha Moonroof insert. BTW, tha floating grille started as the grille/bumper unit from an AMT '66 Riv. As Drew H. said in SA exE, it's just plastic until yur mind shapes it. Zeb
