moparmagiclives
Maybe someone can help me, Ive gotten way in over my head on this mongoose duster, Up to this point Ive got most of the oil and fuel line figured out. But I'm not sure what to do witht the rest of the oil lines. I have one coming from the pump to the pan, and two coming out of the front of the pump going forward. the dual filters mount to the frame, but I cant run both lines to that. Is there no tank on this style car. should I have one of the pump lines going to the filter housing and the housing going to the block. what about the other one from the pump. Is it a bypass? I've been gifter the snake pit site already (way awesome) but I dont think its quite the same. Anyone? Thanks guys Also..does anyone know what name or logo one would find on a scoop cover back then? I made my own and would like to put some kind of decal on it top dress it up. Edited January 18, 2011 by moparmagiclives
Magic Photos
Both lines go to the filters on the top one in one out. Mike Garland
moparmagiclives
So I'm guessing the line I have in the pan is the drain back? its not the feed for the block is it?
dyno56ca
The line coming from the pan is your oil pick up line from the bottom of the pan, it goes through the pump into the filters, out of the filters and back into the pump into a oil galley drilled in the block and from there into the main oil galley.
