It's not a tutorial, but I have a few WIP pics for this Ford I'm working on.

You can check out the thread here:

I also have some other WIP pics not in that thread, since I started the build on another forum before posting it here too. I'll have to check that other thread to see if I mentioned what I used, but I know I cut the square tube in this pic in half to make the main frame stretch pieces.

Thats an impressive stretch. Well done! Did you make those back fenders?

Thanks, and no I did not make the fenders. They and the frame mounted toolboxes are from Eric at P&P Vintage Kits & Resin Works. Here's a link to his site:

He posts here under the screenname Porky and is great to deal with, and his parts are very nicely done.

Ok here is the plan. I’m going to cut the frame where the black line is. I’m going to use this styrene I picked up at hobbytown usa and cut 3 1/2 in strips. The styrene is thick so it should support plus I’m going to box the frame anyways. I added a windshield visor

I streched the frame on the Monogram Ford F350 to make a rollback towtruck. If your going out to by strip styrene get the C channel, It is stronger by nature. I also added a X member using a sprue from the kit. Once its sanded it looked factory. The Jardin website has all kinds of good info. I got the wheelbase info from them and strched it to one of their models.
