hi

I am having a problem getting the hood to fit cleanly.The problem is glue coming up between the body, have tried several types.Also the gap line between the body and hood .I am afraid it will be to wide.Any help

If the gap is too wide you'll have to build up the edges of the hood with strips of styrene. The best way to glue the hood is with liquid styrene cement. You hold the hood in place and brush some liquid cement into the joint from the backside. No messy glue squishing out. Liquid cement is a much better way to go than tube glue for just about all applications.

Hi tried that what i get is melted plastic coming up through joint

Then you're using way too much. All you need is to brush it lightly over the joint. Capillary action will draw it in.
