80's Short Track Gran Prix

It's been a while since I have been over here, changed jobs, cities, life, everything! I have one I can call done.An old MPC Southern Stocker kit, that I had chopped the top a few years ago, but thought it looked like a Volvo! :? So I fiddled with it, ended up cutting the roof into quarters and stretched back out with sheet styrene, then built the rest mostly out of the box. the kit makes a pretty cool early manufacturers short track chassis with the leaf spring rear, four shocks per corner, and other cool detailing parts. Rear end pump, and stiffener, headers, big block, etc. The decals are some never seen early efforts by me, bled out some, too, but I worked with it, tires are AMT NASCAR and wheels are Freds!
