Six-Fo Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) After my 3'rd project, the 64 Impala, I started another lowrider. My friend found this on ebay so he suggested me to build it. Just a simple OOB build. It is sold for now. Edited February 7, 2011 by Six-Fo
CEKPETHO BCE Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Can't believe I didn't see this before. Great looking model
Greg Pugh Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 .....and I can't believe that this was posted back in February and no one bothered to comment on it. That's a great looking model in a great color!! Nice job!
W-409 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Wow, how I have missed this one!? Really great looking paintjob and nice color too. Grille looks good also, nicely done. Nice to see El Caminos from this era too- and I can see, that you're from Estonia, not too far away from Finland... It would be great to see these builds on live.
RodneyBad Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Holy Cow!! How'd this slip on by? Did ya dip that thing in paint or what?? Looks Fantastic..
sweptline64 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 wow. what more can I say that thing is awesome. good job.
geetee66 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Really nice. I love the gleam on the paint. Good colour, too.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Nice job on both, I like the El Camino with those wheels and tires. Keep sharing your work with us.
Six-Fo Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 Thanks guys! I dont actually have it for a long time now, the clear coat had some mysterious reaction over time and some serious "cracks" appeared in clearcoat all over the body.
diymirage Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Thanks guys! I dont actually have it for a long time now, the clear coat had some mysterious reaction over time and some serious "cracks" appeared in clearcoat all over the body. doesnt sound too mysterious to me i'd say the topcoat was not completly dry when you shot the clear the paint continued curing and as a result shrunk a little bit this is what caused the clearcoat to break which dried at a different rate my advise (for what it is worth) make sure you allow each coat of paint to dry before you change to a different paint
