Three Rivers IPMS in Pittsburgh is hosting a Regional Convention, March 25 and 26th, at the Airport Hoiday Inn. If you're not familiar with IPMS events, a Regional Convention is a "super-sized" show that draws more models and vendors from a much larger area than a typical one day show, and our club goes all out to make it a good show. Everyone is welcome - you don't have to be an IPMS member to enter (although you do get a few bucks off registration if you are a member).

BTW, the show uses an "Open Judging" system that doesn't have a fixed number of awards per category, so good builds can be recognized regardless of what you build.

For more info check out our website: http://www.tripms.org/ or contact me here.

Hope to see you there!

I just talked with our Vendor Chairman - John Boettger (sp?) has booked vendor tables at the show. If you haven't run into John at a show yet, he has an awesome selection of automotive kits - whenever I meet up with him I either buy a new kit I've been looking for or something I didn't even know existed. And if he doesn't have it, he can usually get it.

The show is just 3 weeks away... Hope to see you there!

Spent about 4 hours in the vendor area here today...quite a selection of kits, new & old, great prices for most of them. Bought three older kits I've been looking for that were sealed inside, for $22!!! If you're within an hour or so of this location, it's in your best interest to check it out tomorrow!

Mr. Yost was there with all of his perfectly painted bodies, too! ;)

Not alot on the show tables today, but they'll be full tomorrow!
