I bought this kit a few weeks ago and started on the L700 and I'm getting extremely frustrated with it.

I have read all over that its a kit thats just a pain in the butt. I was hoping that anyone here that has built any of the L700 kits could post pictures of it being built and or already done so I could use them as a reference to how things go together. Right now I'm stuck around how to get the engine to sit properly and how to attach the exhaust. But I would really love pictures showing how everything is supposed to look and go together and go into reasonably good detail because I'm completely lost right now. I would really appreciate the help, and thank you in advance.

I have the cab kit, but haven't built it.

X2. I think I at least started the frame in one of mine, but I'd have to look to make sure.

:):D Love those wheels. Gives it Character I bought just the cab kit also. I'm building it as a "puller". (like in farm tractor pulling). I've modified the cab ny adding a nose from a Dodge Ram P/U. Other mods going on too. I did glue doors shut. I'm using a Hemi engine in an under slung mount for cab clearance - so positioning is different. My link

editors - apparently I did not insert my Fotki link correct ; please correct this for me. Thanks

I haven't built the kit; and I have also heard the same thing about it. If the doors are a problem, just glue them shut. The weak link with vintage kits with opening doors, most of them have no door jamb, nor any lip for the door to rest against. The result is a visible gap that lets light pass through.

I have a few pics of other's A-100 builds, at this page...

...and the following page.

For L-700 builds...

BTW, a tip of the hat to Lindberg for really knowing how to milk the tooling for this kit!
