LDO Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 This is a project I'm working on for someone else. A light sanding and I'll be ready to send it off. I was asked to build the body only, but I made frame rails also. I felt like it would help keep both sides symmetrical, especially at the rear where the frame kicks up. It's wood, which I've never worked in. It has been a real challenge Here's a photo of the real car. I built the model off old line drawings and b/w photos. This photo shows me that I need to recontour the top of the hood. The model's hood is too flat. It also looks like the frame rails need some tweaking at the front. I should be able to fix it over the weekend. I'd like to say Hello to the guy stalking me across the internet. How ya doin'?
MonoPed Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Looks like an interesting project - keep posting updates!
