What do i make the buildings out of?

I am new to model cars and i want to build my first diorama but I'm not sure what to make the buildings out of. Can anybody give me any help?

Anything from foam board,styrofoam,cardboard,styrene and wood. Just depends what you are makinand whats on hand. Light weight is one of the keys. I am sure you will get other opinions. Packing styrofoam for computers and phones etc, has all the cubbie holes and cutouts that can be useful. Good Luck and welcome.

There are many great dios in this forum and you can get a lot of ides if you go through them.

Boswell, dig through the pages of the diorama thread or contact Greg hiss sef. I build a lot of meuseuem archectural pieces using Foam Core .
