Peter R Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I have started on a project to do a photo-etch grille for the Revell 06 Mustang GT. I have to fine tune the grille (small adjustments to the headlight rings), and run off a new proof (PE) for the lower vent grilles. The Main Grille Surround (the black plastic part) will have the headlight rings left on, and will be made in the hard type resin. The base for the Pony will be also made in this resin. In the attached photo of the grille in position, with the top tabs left on. The radiator support panel has been made, but I am not sure whether the shape is correct. Tell me what you think ? I have been looking at starting the Grilles for the Revell 07 Shelby GT500 in Photo-etch, which looks a much easier job (the headlight rings were a pain). Can a 07 Mustang GT be made from the Shelby kit ? What do I need to change other than the hood/bonnet ? Appreciate your feedback. Regards Peter R.
walt francis Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I would love to do that to my Altered 06, Are you making these ?
Peter R Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 I would love to do that to my Altered 06, Are you making these ? Yes. Allthough I can't see the upright space between the end of the grille and the headlight on your photo, I would say yes. Peter R.
