LOBBS Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I've been outbid at the last second or had the auction end while I was at work I don't know how many times over the years trying to track these down. Last week I got the built-up annual '68 Chevy truck with a good cab, grille and hood. I was planning on updating the frame by using the underpinnings from the Revell '64/'65 truck and a resin short bed so that was all I really needed. Tonight, I scored a built-up annual '67 Camaro without the "frame" but again I was planning on crossing it with a Revell '69 Camaro to update things anyways. Of course, now Revell will announce brand-new tooling for both of these subjects sometime in the next year.

Ben Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Congrats on your score! I feel your pain as well! I can't tell you how many times I've spent over a hundred bucks on a sealed original kit just to see it re-released a month later and sell for twenty bucks! Oh well, it just means I can buy more of them to build em different ways or use em for parts! (And leave the original alone! )
