DRG Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) I'm getting finished up on the 37 Ford I'm working on and decided to start on this 53 Ford Convertible. Got it at Ollies for 7.99. Any advice or cautions concerning this kit??? Edited March 28, 2011 by DRG
DRG Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 Got quite a bit of painting done to-day. Wow, it looks blue on here. It's actually more of a turquoise color.
Agent G Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Oh I like the colors. That is actually one of Lindberg's best kits ever in my opinion. I built the coupe and enjoyed every minute. One thing I found were the front fender wells were a bit fiddly and a pain to get aligned when mounting the body. They actually fell into place on their own after a few seconds. I attribute that to the kit more than my skill. G
Harry P. Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I agree with G... one of Lindberg's best. You'll have a beautiful model when you're all done.
Helipilot16 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I have three of these awaiting their turn. I will build at least one of them in a late 50s style.
