Can't seem to find much as far as reference photos, I want to know what colors certain F/C chassis were painted and possibly which wheels were used on each. I am building some 1/16 kits:

Whipple & McCulloch blue Revellution Demon

Ed McCulloch red Revellution Duster

Mickey Thompson red Revelleader Grand Am

Mickey Thompson blue US Marines Grand Am

Ron Colson silver Chi-town Hustler

Gene Snow red Snowman

Roland Leong blue Revell Hawaiian

Thanks in advance!

Hey Sam, I have a couple of old drag racing magazines with a few of the kit in them if I believe, not positive. I will have to take a look after work today and I could take a pic of the magazine pages what I find and post for you.

Used to be Terry, gave it up for drag racing but haven't been able to finish my car for the past few years...

Chris, that would be wonderful, thank you!

The Whipple & McCulloch Blue Demon :blue chassis with blue tin work. Ed McCulloch Red Duster :black chassis with red tin work. M T's Red Grand Am: gold chassis & tin work.Chi-Town Hustler : black chassis with red tin work, I'm not sure about the others, for the ones I listed I checked the ones I own. All of the Revell F/C's ran Cragar Super Tricks (kit wheels), it was part of the contract with the racers, I know when the Blue Revellution first hit the strips it had Halibrands (the Demon body was mounted on the 'Cuda chassis the team was running at the time) then switched to the Cragars, also when the 1st version of the Revellution came out in model form it had Firestone Drag 500's in the kit, reissues had Goodyears.

Hey Sam.... So I went thru those magazine found a few pics for ya. I didn't have everyone of the cars in the mags, some I didn't take cause they were in black and white and I added a few others just cause they were in color in these older magazine's I had. Hopefully they will help somewhat. if they don't sorry in advance.
