I know epoxy joints will pull apart with enough force, but I have some delicate parts that need to be re-aligned, so I like to soften the epoxy somehow. Any suggestions?

You could try a little heat.. but that would melt the plastic.

Lacquer thinner.... ? Nope, that would melt the plastic...

Your screwed!

Sorry Steve, love your truck tho :D

Edit: on second thought, try freezing it and then tug at the part. The differental in materials may be just enough...?!?!

Hmmm, tha questions of life. To remake that which waz made as best as yu can. Recombinent DNA, we tried that, but once tha pattern waz made tha new cells failed and deserted, like rats leaving a sinking ship. It waz made tha best that yu could do, revel in it's uniqueness.

Thanks,

You're a big help! :D Lacquer thinner may work... one part is attached to a resin peice.... the other is the backside of the radiator plastic, so damage wouldn't show. Then again, maybe I'll just force it... and probably have to re-make the parts! :?

Thanks for the comps on the truck... I posted it this morning in the finished forum just for youse guys!
