Porky Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) Hey Guys Just got this hood conversion finished up, This is the longest factory offered hood from Pete to date with a 133 inch BBC. Also we now have some update parts for the Italeri Pete kits. Interior update parts set with dash, steering wheel, column and platinum series interior door panels. Also now have the updated 2006 and up tall battery box, 2006 to 2010 DPF box and the 2011 DPF box so now you can build your 2011 model 389's. I will make a post for those parts too so check them out. Any questions just let me know. Edited April 22, 2011 by Porky
highway Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Eric, that hood should work with the Italeri 377 kit, shouldn't it? If so, I think I just found out what I'm going to do with that kit!

Hey Matt You can make it work but you would need to add external breathers and relocate the front axle, the 377 has internal breathers and a set back front axle, the 389 is a forward axle design,,the 378 kits would make it a bit of an easier project but I would think you could do it on the 377, I do have the external vortox breathers. Hey and now I have those red chicken lights so you can light up your tail  Edited April 22, 2011 by Porky

Hey and now I have those red chicken lights so you can light up your tail I know you have the vortox breathers, I have a set!! I forgot all about the set back axle on the 377, and we all know what happens when I start modifying a truck! And believe me, when I order the red chicken lights (plus the amber ones!), you better make sure you have a lot of resin on hand, you'll need it! My trucks like to cluck!
