Bill Edman Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Hey guys I am new to semi trucks but not modeling I picked up a used titan at the show yesterday to rebuild custom. What i am wondering is how do u lower a semi to give it the slammed look? Thanks ahead of time for your help

scummy Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 See if you can remove the front axle from the springs real careful , then glue it back ON TOP of the springs instead of under them .That should drop the front end, now for the the back mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i duno sorry .
monkeyclaw Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I am currently working up a custom pete in 1/16...rather thsn using the usual relocating methods; I am just making all new suspension for the truck; using an all new drop front axle (often if you relocate to top of springs, you will encounter clearance issues with oil pan); the rears are just shorter versions of the pete 1/2 leaf/ bag setups...it will drop the truck about 9 inches in scale....this one is gonna be a show truck....so it's all about looks..........Matt
