jeffinvt Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I have not built a model in about two years and thought I would pull this box out and give it a try. It is a really nice kit and was fun to build right up till the final assembly. I must have buggered something along the assembly because I could not get the under tray to stay all the way up, oh well. I am still happy with my end result as I have only built about 18 models in my life. The color is Lime Time Pearl by House Of Kolor over white base. This took me a little over a week to do, Probably could have been better with more time taken. Thanks for looking, Jeff...
Kanedge Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 For a weeks worth of work, it looks awesome. Love it in green too.
Jon Cole Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) Nice build! Love the color... not expected on a Carrera GT. Good to see someone from Vermont on this board. I'll have to Mapquest your town. They made the models proportions a bit too long tho.... Edited May 5, 2011 by Jon Cole
jeffinvt Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 Thanks everyone, it was fun to knock out a quicky and get back into it... Jon, I'm across the state from the NH side, along the Ny border. Rutland,Vt would be near me and I work at Killington.
Erik Smith Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Looks very nice. It does help to punch something out. I like to build "tortoise and hare" style - I have one (or two, three) slow, detailed projects and a few quick OOB builds. Helps keep a balance. Welcome back and nice job!
