evilone Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 K on a different forum a guy posted up a site for buying models. Well i searched through it and found a couple hearses i have never seen. This is a two parted question. 1: how is this company in dealing with? Are they slow or fast shippers? Are they carless in packing the item you buy or do they pack it to last through the abuse? 2: how is this resin? Is it thick and hard to work with or is it easy? Is it over priced junk or worth every penny? heres the company selling the resin http://www.rocketfin.com/index.cfm heres the resin in question http://www.rocketfin.com/resin_product.cfm?id=4394
Craig Irwin Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Kevin, I have not bought from rocketfin so I can't say good or bad about them, but I did buy a resin kit from the caster Ben Packaz on ebay, and it's best said that it was buildable. If you can do some bodywork, go for it.

highway Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Actually Kevin, I'm not sure but I think Rocketfin is more of a search and research site rather than a retailer. I'd say if they were selling that hearse, there should have been at least a price or ordering information, and I didn't see either. At least the good thing is you now know it's out there, and I wish you good luck in finding it, I know you love your hearses!
Craig Irwin Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 The body was white resin, about the same thickness as stryne, and fairly "pinholess" , but the small details needed cleaning up. That was about 5 or 6 years ago, the caster may have improved with experance. I'd buy again.
evilone Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) well it said email him so im gonna do that and see whats up i just need to know if its worth the effort. The resin sounds good as to what mr.irwin says but i dont know about this guys business know what im sayin. Edited May 6, 2011 by evilone
