Actually Andy, this car did establish over tha road speed records from Paris to other cities in Europe (I just haven't as yet found which ones). Did yu know Andy, that Andre Dubonnet, auto racer, aviation enthusiist and suspension engineer/designer commisioned this auto to showcase his suspension designs here in America, guess who bought the license and used tha Dubonnet Independent front suspension on their production vehicles? It waz Chevrolet. Have sum more pics....

I know something about the car because obviously it ia an awesomely cool car. My book"Berlinettas" states that no records were attempted. and claim the body was built post-war. That may be incorrect. I wouldn't stake much on it. I think it would definitely win the next poll, though. Wouldn't you like that parked in your garage next to the Round Door Rolls and the Phantom Corsair!!!!
