Hello all,

I have a couple questions about new (2011+) KW C500 and C550 trucks built for Canadian oil work. I included a link to a truck paper add,

http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=2588437&

What I am trying to determine is the suspension type, the front obviously has no offset, but it looks like a tubular axle / trailing arm set up?? I am just gathering some information for a future project, I am going to do an older and more traditional C500 next.

Well any info or links on these type trucks would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

On Kenworths website heres alot of info about the c500.

Here is some more information on Kenworths website about the c500

http://www.kenworth.com/6500_arc_pre_mor.asp?file=2553

On truck paper looking at a 1982 KENWORTH C500 it has a walking beam suspension. A few other 70's and 80's c500's say they have a camelback suspension, hendrickson, chalmers, walking beam and rubber block suspension.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Im sure somebody here that actually knows something about the c500 can help with your questions.

Thanks for the information Justin.
