Hi all now on my bench is something a bit different. It's a 1/18 escort cosworth. Was once rare martini livery cossie. But it's of a fair age now so the decals were a bit once for wear. So I stripped the decals and paint. It's currently in primer and the wheels are pink. Dont worry there not staying pink. The car will be matt black with black wheels with a pink lip round them and a pink roll cage. Well that's the plan. I will get pics later the day. <_<

How did you strip the paint? I am currently doing a diecast make over as well. Did the iterior and other details, but not sure whats the best way to remove body paint.

Hi well I just sanded with sand paper. Here's the body now. Needs few more coats and tidying.

Will get pics of the pink cage. Wheels are now black soon to have a pink lip.

If you want to remove all the paint, chemical strippers work great.

Jasco brand is available at most hardware stores. Heed the warnings on the can, and don't use it on anything plastic.

I understand there is an article regarding this exact subject in the current Model Cars Magazine...

Did a few more coats, heres how it's looking. Not sure weather to add pink lip round the wheels or maybe chrome or just leave them black??

I've got the interior back out I'm planning on painting the seat belts pink and embossing powder on the floor. And then adding few more bits of detail painting but this is just a side project when ive got a spare few minutes. Any comments welcome B)

Cheers mooneys well I've flocked the interior and I'm starting to detail the dash with pink so will have to wait and c how much pink there is first. But I'm loving this build it's going in my wee girls room. Maybe add a BMW at a later date. stay tuned
