cazxr2
Hi all now on my bench is something a bit different. It's a 1/18 escort cosworth. Was once rare martini livery cossie. But it's of a fair age now so the decals were a bit once for wear. So I stripped the decals and paint. It's currently in primer and the wheels are pink. Dont worry there not staying pink. The car will be matt black with black wheels with a pink lip round them and a pink roll cage. Well that's the plan. I will get pics later the day. CEKPETHO BCE
How did you strip the paint? I am currently doing a diecast make over as well. Did the iterior and other details, but not sure whats the best way to remove body paint.
cazxr2
Hi well I just sanded with sand paper. Here's the body now. Needs few more coats and tidying. Will get pics of the pink cage. Wheels are now black soon to have a pink lip.
Scale-Master
How did you strip the paint? I am currently doing a diecast make over as well. Did the iterior and other details, but not sure whats the best way to remove body paint. If you want to remove all the paint, chemical strippers work great. Jasco brand is available at most hardware stores. Heed the warnings on the can, and don't use it on anything plastic. I understand there is an article regarding this exact subject in the current Model Cars Magazine...
