catd11rpusher Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I am using testers modeling putty in a tube, I have a kenworth 123 and I'm trying to hide the seems on the tank, but when I sand it then paint the seems show up any help?
mnwildpunk Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 First off I dislike testor's putty! It's so crumbily and hard to work with. Now this may be a dumb question but did you primer before you painted the model?
cowboysevens Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 i use 3M bondo spot and glazing putty and have good results, i used squadran white putty before and it shrinks too so i changed to the bondo. hope this helps
69A-CAR Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I use and like the Bondo brand spot putty, work well for me. You should be able to get it at Auto Zone, Advanced auto, I think Wal-Mart sells it. Mark
clayton Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I use the Bondo in the Tube works real good. My building has slow down a good bit in the last year or so and the tube is close too 3 years old now staring to dry up,but useable. In fact using it now.
