Tamiya Claer Over Polar Lights Pre-Paints????

Anyone have any luck doing this?? I want to clear the 65 Dodge Convert I got and like the finish the Tamiya gives but want to know if anyone has tried this and how it worked out for them. I am also working on a PL GTO and want to put some Tamiya color over the pearl white prepainted base.

I've heard it works but haven't tried it myself. I have both the '64 and '05 GTO's I would like to do that to someday. Or, perhaps I'll just strip them and repaint. Especially since I'm in the middle of remastering the front fascias for the 2004-05 GTO's to add proper fog lights. 8) :wink:
