Cody60D Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Hello! I am new to this forum, and seeing all the work here simply blows me away. I'm on my summer break from school, and was bored of doing nothing all day at home, so I decided to go to and unbox and build a Ferrari 612 kit we found in a recent move. I settled on Testor's Sapphire Blue for the final color of the exterior, and for the interior, black with grey inserts. This is my first build since the 7th grade, where I finished a Tamiya Williams FW24, and attempted to build a Revell Enzo. The Enzo was never completed, since I did such a poor job on it, I decided to not even finish it. In both cases, I had somewhat rushed it, and they looked terrible. The paint was too thick, as well as it looked like a crazy monkey glued everything with glue threads everywhere. This time, however, since I have NOTHING to do until September, when I start 12th grade. Pictures: Most Recent Image- Planning to repaint the read headrest, btw Enjoy!
aksarben Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Looking good so far, keep it up. Glad to see young people getting an interest in the hobby. Take your time and take pride in this one. Steve
