Bringing down the rear on Revell funny cars

There used to be a tutorial somewhere that showed how to lower the rearend on the old Revell funny cars. Does anyone remember or have a copy of it?

Scale auto had an article about that years ago by Drew. As I recall you file the notches in the bulkheads and/or make new ones from sheet plastic. Someone said there were tips on this in the F/C packed in the tins.
