Mopar - D Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Monogram / Revell Snake and Mongoose original Hot Wheels funny cars.
1320wayne Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Superb job. I was never very impressed with these kits as the body proportions always seemed kind of chunky to me but these are two of the nicest builds from these kits that I have seen.
Evil Appetite Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 My apologies for hijacking your thread.I picked this kit up a while back but the decals are shot. Does anyone make replacements? Great looking builds!
Mopar - D Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 Mike , i scanned my decal sheet before I cut them up. I can send you the PDF file and you can make your own.
Dragracer Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 The cars look great, really like the red on the 'Gooses car.

Dragline Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 These are very nice. I built these a year or so ago and it was great fun. I used Tamiya bright red and yellow on mine. I'd also like to know the hues you laid down.. Bob
Mopar - D Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 Bob I used model master Italian red and Chrysler yellow PY3 with 3 coats on each then 3 coats of model gloss clear.
