I am currently working on a 1:25 scale 1970 Monte Carlo. I have decided to remove the trunk to customize it. I have never before attempted such a thing and was wondering about easy ways to make things like latches, and interior items. Any and all suggestions will be welcomed. Also looking for ideas and tricks for the engine.

Thank You!

Welcome to the board Jason. As an ex-Sci-Fi / Starship model builder, I know the frustrations of hinging a car. Let's face it, not a lot of hinges on doors that slide into walls. lol. I'm hinging the roof hatch of a funny car. I went thru 3 different ones before I found a set up I liked.

My advice is to simply use the search engine here every chance you get. When I plugged in "Hinge", I found several tutorials including an excellent video how - to by Dr. Cranky. Same goes for your engine plans.

Enjoy your stay and if you want more help, pm me.
