allegheny Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I'm been out of this hobby for about 35 years, way too long!, But I've got the bug real bad again! What are the AMT "Proshop" & the REVELL "Metal" body kits all about? Are these good models to assemble? Thanks! Paul
Jon Cole Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I built the '77 Trans Am, a Revell Pre-paint metal body kit. Very nice kit... much better than the AMT, imho
allegheny Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Nice looking TransAm! Thanks everyone for the info! Paul
MikeMc Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I did a 23 T bucket....darn good kit....the interior was a bit funky...but the motor is wired, the headers blued...the wheels and tires are the best part of it..I did use a 50% off Michaels coupon.
Eshaver Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) Mike, look very closely at that Model T . It's based very very close on the A M T tool . With MINOR modifications , one can swap all the pieces unique to A M T's version and vice versa ........... Ed Shaver Edited October 3, 2011 by Eshaver
