thinking about buying a new digital camera, could use some input

Update....I just picked up a used Pentax K2000 with 2 factory lenses..18mm to 55mm & 50mm to 200mm.

10 megapixels, shoots in the RAW format.

I found the ads misleading..my lenses are marked as f5.6 but on the body, they stop down to f32.

With a 16gb sdhc card I get over 800 images in RAW....I cannot use my built in card reader..so I download with the USB cord into Adobe Raw

I spent under $400. for everything...with a 30 day warranty.

This body will take ANY Pentax lens....even screw mount from your H3V.and Spotmatic days....

As a 4/3rd sensor camera user, Id purchase the olympus epl1 refurbished for 299. you get full auto, full manual, raw and the chance to upgrade lenses if you find you want photography as a hobby also.

I own a olympus e-pl1 and it is a fantastic camera in a compact body.
