1320wayne Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 Adam, as much as I enjoyed coming down to Lauderdale a couple of years ago there is also a 1:1 car show at Garlits museum on the 22nd called Rat Rods at Garlits, with a model contest as well. I don't doubt that it will be a good show. Besides the closer proximity of this other show up here there is also the matter of finances and anything extra is planned for the annual trip to Atlanta in November. Shows seem to be so sparse here in Florida, I would love to be able to attend any that do happen but money is tight now for so many that it never seems to work out. Round 2 and Autoworld have provided us with a NHRA drag racing slot car track, so we will have Slot Car races the day of the event. Just in case you where under a rock the show is THIS SATURDAY OCTOBER 22 in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
