Brett Barrow Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) Need to know what size these tires represent in the 1:1 world. They're the tires from 90's Revell Pro Stock kits (and some of the later re-issued 70's Funny Cars as well) Thanks, Brett edit - they are not the tires from the 90's Pro Stocks. That's what I was told they're from. They are indeed the newer 70's Funny Car tires. Edited October 14, 2011 by Brett Barrow
Brett Barrow Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 Are they the ones they're using in the Chi Town/Hawaiian ? Mine didn't have the "Remove Me" webbing in the hole, so I assumed they were a different tire. I know they were in the Mongoose re-issue, as well as the last Jungle Jim re-issue. It doesn't really matter what kit they originated from, I need to know the real-world sizes they represent. My company is goign to be re-packaging them and re-selling them and I need to know the 1:1 sizes (if anyone even knows).
Scale-Master Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Why don't you measure them and multiply the size by the scale (25)? That will tell you what they scale out to in actual 1:1 size.

Yeah I could have done that, but I didn't know how racing tires are sized (Now, after a little googling I see they're basically just sized by the tread width, OD, and wheel size). I was just taking a shot someone would know and post an answer before I left work. I'll bring the calipers tomorrow and figure it out.
