Jon Cole Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I suspect the plug wires you are using are too big in diameter. When adding plug wires, a #74 drill bit is about right. Making a convincing dissy from scratch is tough. I just drilled 7 holes on the Hudson 6 dissy, I had to do this looking through a magnifying glass / lamp... old eyes not what they used to be. Good luck, and keep at it.
stulee11 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 heres the dizzy cap all sorted and the start of the fuel lines
Hypermung Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Try 30 gauge wrapping wire from Radio Shack I just 'Discovered' this 30 gauge wrapping wire myself Rob...Nice & thin, & available in black, blue & red. How do you attach it to the distributor cap? Drill & glue?

How do you attach it to the distributor cap? Drill & glue? Drill each hole, cut a piece of wire longer than needed (usually about 3") and use a SMALL dab of superglue; starting in the center with the coil wire. Once the wired dissy is glued in place, then each wire will be trimmed to proper length, and glued. Don't forget to all a dose of gravity to the finished wires... some sagging is natural.
stulee11 Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 do you strip out the wire from inside of it or leave it in ???
