how i find cheap model kits //how do you do it

the two i bought at the show/swap cost less than retail at the LHS..... still expensive imo but less than retail.

when i feel like building but lack ready cash, i go through my old builtups and see which ones just don't satisfy me.... many of my models are on their third or fourth go-around.
