mookie Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Model Masters paint, rims from the Revell 32 5 window, lake pipes from Revell 49 mercury, steering wheel from Revell 64 Impala.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 You got it riding very low. Love it, nice job! I like the color, what is it?
mookie Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Thanks Doc. The paint is Model Master deep pearlescent purple.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Nice, but to me it looks blue. Cool, thanks, Javier.
mannyclub Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Love these cars! Looks awesome, nice wheel choice. The lake pipes set it right off too. Manny
Dominik Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) Very cool ride - the color and wheels look good on it. But... For the trim and the frames from windshield, side and backwindows please take more time or a slow hand. I always take my airbrush and tape them if i dont take BMF. Another choice, is to take chrompencel (?) from Edding - dont know, if its available in your stationery business. It has a good look and is easy to handle For sidemarkers and front turnsignals you also can take Tamiya Clear orange and/or Clear red. Looks very realistic! Check it out in a next build and you will see, the result speeks for itself Edited October 29, 2011 by Dominik
Skydime Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) Great Caprice! I like the white walls, slammed stance, and lake pipes. As for the signal light suggestion, try Sharpies too. They always do well for me. Or you can also tint future with food coloring. Edited October 29, 2011 by Skydime
