How do you add to your topic title

I'm not the most computer literate guy around but I try to hold my own. I have a build log going on in "on the workbench", it's titled "the rat rig". I've just added an update and noticed that others mention update in their title. How do I add this to the title without starting a new post. Thanks, Ken

Click on "Edit" at the bottom of your first topic post, then scroll to the bottom (below the editing window) and click "Use Full Editor" which gives you access to edit the topic title.
