simple question.is all or most tamiya spray paint enamel or lacquer?also are hi gloss clears from dupont,rustoleum,valspar,etc...to hot to spray over model paint<colors>?also is krylon & rust-oleum enamel or lacquer?

Krylon and Rustoleum are enamels . Using different clears over hobby paint can be a hit or miss proposition ! I stick to the Testors enamels straight across the board , both paint and the clear . This way , I have no worries when it comes to the compatability with the plastic .

As for the Tamiya line , Mike Mc or Bob Downie will have a better answer for you . I don't use the product .

thanks for the help guys.i really like to use model masterhigh gloss clear #2936.if anybody else has any answers,please let me know.

enamel drys slow and picks up dust //// arc dry a little faster /// i use enamel but i go into my paint dryer fast to stop the dust or slow it down
