Well, having tried most paint lines by now, I am once again in love with enamel mixed with cheap lacquer thinner . . . it gives you an amazing in scale and deep shine, and if you cut and buff, it becomes a mirror.

testors wet look clear yeilds some pretty good results. however I feel you may get more bang for your buck using automotive paints like plasticote or duplicolor from the auto parts store. try to resist using the really cheap paint like rustoleum . some may swear by it but i don't think it works out in the long run . for long term practicality it is better to understand that your paint job is the most important aspect of your model and there are no shortcuts learn practice and patience .
