Jesse D Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I gotta 72 c10 gluebomb from a buddy of mine a while back. The windshield is scratched to death and is cracked in he middle a ways ans stuck back togeher with super glue. I was wondering if there is a cheap and relatively easy way to save it.
62rebel Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 scratches are one thing; cracks are another. scratches can sometimes be polished out with care but a crack (especially repaired with superglue) is never going to disappear. what i would do, is polish the unit out as well as possible and use it to form a thin sheet of acetate or clear styrene to replace it.
