Mike Kucaba Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) Anyone know if the frames in these represent any specific builder such as Fuller,Long etc.? Thanks I should have mentioned the 1/16th scale FED'S Edited December 10, 2011 by Mike Kucaba
kitswapper Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 The first kit Revell released was the Tony Nancy, so from what I know it's a Woody Gilmore Chassis all the front engine kits are based on. The funny cars are based a Don hardy chassis as the Gene Snow was used as the basis for the first kit.
Terry Sumner Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Take a look here.... http://www.straightlinemodeler.org/rice.html
Mike Kucaba Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Big oops on my part. I should have said 1/16th FE dragsters. Were they all the same? I seem to recall the Wynn's Winder mentioned a Don Long chassis. Thanks for the link though.Interesting read.
rmvw guy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Thank you Terry for the images. Future project!
