Evil Appetite Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I've been using other putties and fillers by Tamiya and Squadron, and I find they either shrink, or chip if/when I come to drill in the filled spot. Does Evercoat shrink or chip when drilled. Also, since it isn't a hobby type putty, I imagine there must be plenty of fumes. The hobby putties are relatively safe, so do you guys were a mask when using and sanding this stuff? Thanks, Mike
Mike Kucaba Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I don't usually wear a mask, just try and keep adequate ventilation. You might want to try Magic- Sculpt two part putty. I have been using it lately and for big jobs it's hard to beat. Sands easily and can be drilled and sculpted like no polyester putty. I still use polyester putty of the two -part type, but I have no brand loyalty, just whatever the paint shop has on special.
