walt francis Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 This was the 55 chevy I found at the last show and figured I would get her stripped . ..Welllll that didn't help a whole heck of a lot, because the whole body is totally super etched and not worth messing with, I think I see my first rust job coming. They did work on the stance and got it where I would like it.
Adam deCoste Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 To bad about the body being etched, I have some amt 69 chargers that i practice new things on incase i mess up lol
henry57 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) I've saved a lot of etched models by wet sanding them with 1500 grit, Looks like a perfect candidate for a TLB bulid though Edited December 12, 2011 by henry57
Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Walt, did you say "rust?" RUST! Bring it on. This kit turns out great in either case!
